Here’s to Fun, Rum, & Yum!
Looking for a dish that will make your taste buds dance? The octopus at Castaway Bistro in the Dominican Republic is a must-try! Tender, juicy, and smothered in a mild, spicy red curry sauce, each bite is a mouthwatering flavorful adventure. But the fun didnβt stop there! Castaway Bistroβs signature rum cocktails swooped in with just the right balance of sweetness and warmth, perfectly cooling the heat and keeping the party going. We were having a great time and then to top it all off, owner Michaelβan incredibly gracious hostβstopped by our table to check in on our meal. He recommended the scrumptious Bananas Foster which turned out to be a winning choice. At first, I wasnβt sure I had room for dessert, but one bite in, I found myself finishing the whole thing. Letβs just say, it was totally worth it! The original Castaway’s was amazing, but Mike knocked it out of the park with the new location and love the new menu with some of the same old goodies. You all did it again and never stop disappointing. We’re already trying to figure out what to have next time!
