Hello and welcome to Castaways Bistro!
Owners Michael and Sylvia Livingston dreamed up this idea while on vacation-Sylvia simply told her husband “One day we should open a beach bar and restaurant”. Like all good husbands, he listened to his wife’s advice! Having 4 decades of experience in restaurants all over the USA, Michael knew he understood the business but needed a partner who understood the culture of the Dominican, so he brought on Executive Chef Frisnert Lubin. Together, they created the recipes and menu before you and used Chef Lubin’s Caribbean expertise to give Dominican Flair to Michael and Sylvia’s concept.
